Last night I started playing with some acrylic metallic paints with the same squeegee technique... this is what I came up with, I will work again with these paint colors on a couple of 12 x 12 inch gallery wrapped canvases next.

- I am a graphic designer by trade, mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin. After closing down the Digital Scrapbook web site that I owned and operated for 5 years, I decided that it was time to get away from the computer as much as I can outside of work, and get my hands messy again. My family is getting older, not me, but they are, and my little bird will be flying the nest in a couple years. I know that I am going to need a distraction when that day comes, so I have gone back to school (The self-education route) to learn and experiment with the fine arts again. I am having a blast, and am enjoying this new journey. I love the support and inspiration I have found in the community of artists who blog on-line...
